We are saved by grace through faith plus nothing

In 1986 my wife and I first believed and trusted that Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay for the forgiveness of our sins. That He died, was buried and rose again on the third day according to Scripture. We believe that the Holy Spirit seals us the moment we believe, and the Holy Spirit is our “down payment” of our eternal life with God in heaven (Ephes 1:13-14). A few years ago, we discovered two things that has really helped us to understand God’s Word so much clearer. (1) That the KJV is God’s pure Word to us in English and (2) That if you study the Bible the way God says you should you will begin to clearly understand because then there are no conflicting verses between law and grace. 2nd Timothy 2:15 KJV “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” but don’t look for that verse in any “new modern bible” – you won’t find it because they have changed it. Rightly dividing simply means dividing truth from truth. All the Bible is true and is for us, but it is not all to us. An example: God’s message to Noah was different than His message to Moses. Likewise, the message to us in this age of Grace where salvation is a “free gift” and is different than it was to Israel where they were commanded to keep the law.
